"Got some good food trucks, a pie eating contest and activities for the kids," said Clark Moore, a local resident.The festive atmosphere was further enhanced by the city's efforts to create a welcoming environment for the holiday celebrations. "One of the things I love is the platform the City of Jacksonville has provided for our family to come here. What's unique about it is my babies are also French Canadian, so it's an opportunity for them to experience every bit of their culture and it's free," shared one enthusiastic attendee.

William Peterson, a local, praised the scenic backdrop, stating, "We got the beach; we stay cool and see fireworks."
